The Total Pet Flat Figure of 8 Lead is our more premium Figure of 8 option, designed to give you greater control of your dog’s head and direction while offering a softer, flatter and more comfortable feel around the face.

When your dog pulls, the Figure of 8 design creates gentle pressure around the muzzle and allows you to guide their head and direction. When the lead relaxes, the pressure releases. This makes strong pulling easier to manage without relying on strength alone.

The difference is in the design.

Instead of round rope, the Flat Figure of 8 uses soft, flat webbing with padding running throughout the lead, creating a wider and more cushioned contact area. The flat profile also sits closer to the dog’s face, helping keep their line of sight clearer — particularly useful for dogs whose eyes sit lower on the face.

The padded nose section adds further comfort around the sensitive muzzle area, while reflective fleck runs through the trim of the lead to help improve visibility during darker walks.

For dogs that weave, sniff or constantly change direction, choose the Swivel version. A built-in swivel allows the lead to rotate as your dog moves, helping it naturally untwist itself instead of repeatedly twisting around during the walk.

Prefer a simpler setup? The Non-Swivel version provides the same Figure of 8 control and padded flat design without the rotating mechanism.

Every Flat Figure of 8 Lead also includes a collar safety attachment as standard, providing an additional connection to your dog’s collar for extra security and reassurance.
