Hi, I’m Elliot — founder of Total Pet and lifelong dog owner. Since 2019, Total Pet has been built around a simple idea:better training tools create better dogs. What began as a solution to one frustrating problem has grown into a trusted UK training brand helping owners improve control, strengthen training, and build calmer, more confident dogs through practical, real‑world solutions.

Our story started on Amazon, where we noticed the same issue again and again: traditional long‑line leads simply weren’t suitable for training. They caused friction burns, reduced control, and made recall and behaviour work unnecessarily stressful — for both dogs and their owners.

So we redesigned the tool.

The result was the Control Handle — a simple but powerful training innovation that gave owners more confidence, control, and clarity during walks and training. It transformed our long line into a bestseller and laid the foundation for Total Pet as a training‑first brand.

From that point on, our mission became clear:create practical, performance‑driven training products that genuinely improve life with your dog.
